1. Acceptance

By using PawTrace you agree to these terms.

2. What PawTrace is

PawTrace is a QR pet tag that links to a pet profile page, plus a web app to manage that profile and receive sighting reports. PawTrace is not a GPS device, not a tracker, and does not provide real-time location of your pet. It works only when a person scans the tag and chooses to contact you.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the accuracy of the information on your pet profile.

4. Orders and shipping

Tags are sold through our store and fulfilled from Canada. Delivery times vary by destination.

5. Refunds

We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee on every tag. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, email us within 30 days of delivery and we will issue a full refund. You do not need to return the tag.

If your tag is lost or damaged after the guarantee window, we offer replacement tags for $9.99 USD, shipping included.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, submit false sighting reports, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Sighting feature

Sighting reports are submitted by members of the public and we cannot verify their accuracy. We do not guarantee that a lost pet will be found or returned.

PawTrace is an identification product. It is not a GPS device or tracker and does not provide the location of your pet. PawTrace does not guarantee the recovery of a lost pet.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawTrace and its owners, employees, and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of a pet, loss of profits, loss of data, or personal injury, arising from your use of the tags or the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to PawTrace is limited to the amount you paid us for the product in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.

We may update these terms and will post the new date above.
